About the Author
How do you summarize a life?
In short, three cats allow me and my family to live with them.
The slightly longer version is that I obtained my Ph.D. in microbiology at the University of Massachusetts. Then, I became a teacher for almost ten years and came to understand how wonderfully different everyone is and that each person has a story to tell. Now, a science editor by trade, I am aware of the need for consistency and a compelling storyline.
I have published in Frontiers in Microbiology, IJSEM, Applied Environmental Microbiology, and the Journal of Molluscan Studies. Proud of my non-fiction work, I am excited to apply that knowledge in building the fantasy world of Verro.
